Brad's expertise lies at the intersection of financial strategy and operational execution. He works with business owners, investors, and executive leadership teams to evaluate opportunities, solve complex business challenges, strengthen financial decision-making, and translate strategic objectives into practical, measurable action. His experience includes financial planning and analysis, capital strategy, project financing, organizational leadership, contract negotiation, risk management, process improvement, and business transformation.

Before co-founding Resolute, Brad served as Chief Operating Officer of Scenic Land Company, where he held broad leadership responsibility for finance, real estate development, operations, technology, and strategic initiatives associated with McLemore Resort. During his tenure, he played a central role in the financing, development, and opening of Cloudland at McLemore Resort, a Hilton Curio Collection hotel and conference center, and The Keep, an 18-hole championship golf course. He also led significant infrastructure and residential development initiatives and helped structure and execute more than $250 million in real estate financing transactions.

Earlier in his career, Brad held leadership positions in finance, accounting, risk management, project management, engineering, information technology, and customer service with Sulzer Pumps, MetalTek International, and Johnston Southern Company, a Chattanooga-based family office. This diverse background provides him with a practical understanding of how financial decisions affect operations, and how operational performance ultimately drives financial results.

Brad is also Chief Operating Officer of Mu Hat Capital Management, where he leads operational strategy, investor relations, business development, financial management, and institutional infrastructure for a quantitative investment management firm. His work at Mu Hat further strengthens his experience in capital formation, investor communications, organizational development, risk management, and the disciplined execution of sophisticated financial strategies.

At Resolute, Brad advises clients on challenges that often fall between traditional accounting, finance, and operations functions. He is known for quickly understanding complex situations, identifying the issues that matter most, and helping leadership teams develop clear, executable solutions. His approach is collaborative, analytical, and grounded in the belief that sustainable business performance requires disciplined financial management, capable people, efficient processes, and consistent execution.

Brad earned both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. His professional development also includes project-management training, advanced negotiation training, and participation in Leadership Chattanooga.
